i'm trying to finish this JAPAN thing ASAP. plus since i'm so lapang these days... might as well... *i have an article due next week... YIKS... HAHAHA yes... i'm super multi-tasking... celebrity in the making... fashion stylist... and... writer? hahahaha...*
cheap entertainment.
while i was on the plane at about 5am. i saw this remarkable view loh. one side DARK DARK... one side BRIGHT BRIGHT. so fascinating! haha. yea i'm still a baby what! and first time on a red eye ma. so very fascinated la!
the first day when i arrived tokyo. i saw another cheap entertainment while waiting for wendy. heh. boys playing kick some tin. protect some tin at their erm... mini field. heh.
YOKOHAMA
* today. went down to yokohama. like finally. kinna long route. well first of all why i wanna go. a japanese friend said i MUST visit it. china town is there. must go must go... then wendy said... you go china town i will kill you. (she hates the chinese students from china, apparently since they started coming down to japan, the crime rate went up)
* oh can you believe it... in europe, police drives porche, in japan police rides bicycles. hahaha.
* PLUS i saw the ferris wheel used for Leon's movie (oh that green pea building...) was from there. was so BIG. so i wanna see. cannot sit la. alone so bodoh la.
* and later i found out the price to seat was ¥2500. like forget it. super forget it.
* so i very rajin go loh. so far can the journey. i had to go to tachikawa then change higashi kanagama only then i'm at yokohama.
Higashi Kanagama stop.
YAY!!! i'm finally there! so happy... ferris wheel... ferris wheel...
* i really wanted to faint. i walked east. walked south. and yet i can't find the exit... i'm stuck underground. cool huh. i tried going into the shopping malls. sogo and another one... forgotten it's name... but i couldn't locate the ground floor or the exit... this YOKOHAMA is like a freaking maze. it did hit my mind to just forget the ferris wheel and go straight to ginza... mmm...
no matter how annoyed... i can still camwhore... *wink* *snap*
finally out after 30 mins of hunting the exit! i was tired already... and in pain... ankle damn pain liow.
* super. super. empty. far. deserted.
* i had to walk so far from the train station to get to the ferris wheel... like... so FAR!
* people here. either don't know how to give directions or... they super do not understand english. or read maps.
this building is actually a shopping mall. lots of food inside... seems really good. but. but but... kinna empty...
* maybe i don't know how to read maps. nah not possible. hahaha. blame it on people. that's the way.
* kena tipu. like a few times.
one guard told me this building was the yokohama art museum... and it looked very similar to the map's picture... so i believed him... for that 15 minutes...
* generally. i thought the map's scale was walking distance. but it's NOT! the book and this new FOC map is like totally different. so not walkable! no wonder their eyes glared at me when i said i wanna walk here.
yokohama's landmark building...
was nearby the yokohama art's museum. but didn't bother going in. the current show doesn't sound interesting.
camwhore moment...
* this whole area feels like putrajaya... haha.
*still slightly lost... but i can feel that we're getting there...
saw this... thought it was some rollar coaster... but it's not... it's just another art installation... very grand one... i wonder does it function... like a lamp post... so cool if it does... faster light!
finally... the destination... QUICK... i have yet another 2 more locations to be at...
* somehow... there's this train that goes directly to tokyo... from this... red train... don't remember the name... oo... like so amazing... so convient... why when i arrived there's no such thing? make me waste my energy and most important my TIME! dumb dumb! and it's cheap too. i mean not bad la the price... i was expecting ¥1000 plus plus... thank god i was only about ¥480...
had to change train here in shinjuku... so... *SNAP*
made a quick stop to camwhore. SHIBUYA!!!
GINZA
* the only reason why i'm at ginza is because of kabuki-za... (no that's kabuki-cho... ermm... oh you didn't ask... well just in case you did... or now wonder what is kabuki-cho... its the famous male and some female erm. red. light. district) you PERVERT!
* kabuki-za is one of japan's fading performing arts... passed down from generations to generations... and now sadly the younger generations are no longer interested in doing this theatre play.
* and of cuz i wanted to see the mac shop... wondering if they would load songs to my new ipod... yay.
* and of cuz i wanted to see Dior, Prada, T&Co, Dolce et Gabbana, Burberry... etc etc etc... but not buying and a quick glance only!
i should have never walked near this building... what i didn't know wouldn't hurt me...
i ended up having... 2 of these... in total... i have 4 ipods now...
<<<--anyone wants to buy the BLUE one? NO i'm not selling the red one... even if it will eventually get here... i don't care... it's MINE. please god... don't let the ipod red come to malaysia... anyways... back to business... the blue one is for sale at rm728.00... any buyers? the current price is rm939.00 and no i've not used the blue one... but opened it. and click the language... ENGLISH... my fingers gatal... so sue me.-->>>
<<<--charity? what charity??? i only know LIMITED and SPECIAL... charity??? is that the new term for fetiche?-->>>
* me. needs. FOOD. saw yoshinoya and finally decided to go eat...
see. see. see... malaysia one looks better... hahaha
* kabuki-za was really easy to find. and the map for ginza was really easy to read! why can't they make more maps like this???
can't make it for today's show obviously... since it's already 1430 and i've to meet wendy about 1730? (i forgot the actual time)
* thou later when i was hunting for burberry... it was a nightmare... walked and walked and walked in circles... and well... there's a bag i really wanted... so... i HAD to find it... even thou at that time my ankle hurts like hell. OH man how am i going to grace the red carpet tomorrows... YIKS!
* since wendy said the one in ginza was the biggest... i HAD to go and see. HAD to... so i finally found it after all the landmarks she gave me... from mac. matsuya, walk down... you'll see the adidas shop. then shiseido. then walk futher down... it's there... unfortch there's two shiseido... one was red one was the shiseido with chocolates... and i saw the one with chocolates... that's why i didn't see burberry at first... so saw it. got it. happy.
ROPPONGI HILLS
* first reason to be here... eat udon. wendy said it's a very large bowl. interesting. and she's only free for today... with yong... the other days she'll be working and class... and sniff sniff... sorta the last night i'll be spending with them... le sigh.
* and of cuz... to see and find out where i'll be staying tomorrow... and for the next few remaining days... IBIS hotel.
embrace... the udon...
HUGE or not! and this is not even the biggest bowl ah...
* when i first arrived... and even before i arrived i told people i wanted to go tokyo tower... they all so evil. laugh. le sigh. well i figured out why now... so SHORT... hahaha... and everyone kept asking me to go disney... sorry it didn't even cross my mind at all that JAPAN... has a disneyland... i mean i knew but i... well... i'm going there for harajuku not disneyland... and did i mention i was ALONE? play what? ride the games ALONE? siow! actually travelling alone all these years is so boring. BEN! quick save!
we wonder why it says... 2016... when it's only 2006...
everyone was telling me. no need to go. it's very LOW wan. other buildings here now taller la. true. true... saves more money... hahaha.
* fuu yoo... all this while i've been using the JR line... and today... i've been taking the tokyo metro like crazy. i love japan's trains... so cool and unique... STAR? PUTRA? hahahahaha.
KUNITACHI
* le sigh. my last night.
SNAP SNAP SNAP...
Thoughts of the day...
* finally... did some SHOPPING!!! oh... i want MORE... if only i had those rm50.00 seeds... DANG!
* i want that other bag i saw in GINZA. shall buy when i go there to watch kabuki-za next week.
* some things might be expensive and ridiculous. but the fact is, japan is a very reasonable country. i mean it's true la parking, accomodation is ultra expensive but it's only because there's so many people living there!
* malaysian are like a rare species there. they lup us very much. haha. but for education only... nothing else... they'll probably lups you a lot too if you can shop like a becky bloomwood...
* lup/lups is refering to LOVE y'all...
* it's a bit annoying that in Japan... they like to tell you the price before and after tax... it makes me wonder... like... FARKs... it was less cheaper without the tax... DAMN tax... even thou we... tourist are entitled for a refund of 5% it's still annoying to see that TAX before. and after crap. DAMNit.
told you it was a long post... thanks for staying till here... YOU ARE TOO FREE! go find something else to do but waste your time reading people's travel adventure!
post started since... 0330, nov 8 2006.
