being bestow with great power comes big responsibilities...

but at the same time... the amount of responsibility and stress is crazy...

when i was designing i never liked making trendy designs,
even thou my lecturers hailed me in the avant-garde category
for a fact i hated that idea...
it feels like an insult... like my collection will pass...
10 years from now it will look like 10 years away...
shit.
i preferred making timeless piece...

but now after a long hour conversation with chee au the other night
i'm beginning to understand
not just fashion
but
the marketing side
the profit side

without trend there's no "CRAVE"

let's just say you are now 60 years old...
you already have a car,
a fabulous house,
loving kids...
married kids...

what do you want next?
GRANDchildren...

see that's an objective...
a crave...
*and once you get them... you would want to travel... far away...*

same goes with trend in fashion
in a way it's pure existence is to help you live better
so you would have an objective to work
a desire to earn...
to earn more money to buy something you crave
something new
something that you don't have

if you bought a suit...
HORRAY!
10 years from now it's still a suit...

but look LV mirror bag...
it's IN now... but not tomorrow...

you'll then have to buy
this new bag
cuz otherwise someone else would have it
and you don't

and now my job is to make 'trend' more prominent
